1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Hand Credit mobile application, website (https://handcredit.in), or related software services (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately refrain from using the Service.

2. Scope of Service (What Hand Credit Does)

Hand Credit is designed exclusively as a digital record-keeping and agreement confirmation platform that allows users to:

• Create digital records of agreed credit terms between two parties.
• Facilitate mutual review and confirmation of agreement records.
• Log timestamps, payment entries (full or partial), and calculate updated balances.
• Store supporting notes, attachments, and closure records.
• Organise records into categories: Hand Credit, Business Credit, Interest Credit, and Chit Credit.

3. Prohibited Misunderstandings (What Hand Credit Does Not Do)

To prevent any ambiguity, you explicitly acknowledge and agree that:

• No Lending Relationship: Hand Credit does not lend money or act as an intermediary, lender, broker, or agent in any financial deal.
• No Money Transfer: The Service contains no payment gateway, wallet, or funds-transfer functionality. All financial exchanges occur entirely off-platform between the parties.
• No Repayment Guarantee: Hand Credit cannot and does not guarantee that any party will honor their agreed terms, make repayments, or fulfill any contractual obligations.
• No Credit Bureau Scoring: Hand Credit does not generate, sell, or query credit bureau scores.
• Chit Fund Clarification: Hand Credit provides software record-keeping tools for chit credit groups. It does not conduct chit fund operations, hold subscriber money, manage prize pools, or disburse payouts.

4. User Eligibility & Responsibilities

• Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years of age and legally competent to enter into contracts under Indian law.
• Accuracy of Information: You are solely responsible for ensuring that all data, terms, amounts, dates, and contact information entered into Hand Credit are true, accurate, and lawfully obtained.
• Lawful Conduct: You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful, predatory, fraudulent, money-laundering, or harassing activities.
• Account Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and mobile device access.

5. Mutual Confirmation & Evidentiary Nature

Hand Credit provides a mechanism for counterparties to confirm agreement terms. While digital records may be used as factual documentation between parties, Hand Credit makes no legal warranty that any agreement recorded complies with local statutory formalities (such as stamping, registration, or licensing requirements applicable to certain financial instruments). Users are encouraged to seek independent legal advice where necessary.

6. Attachments and Document Uploads

You retain ownership of any documents, images, or receipts you upload. By uploading content, you grant Haffi Fintech Solutions the necessary technical license to host, display, and transmit the content solely to provide the Service to you and your counterparty. You must not upload defamatory, infringing, or illegal material.

7. Account Suspension & Termination

Haffi Fintech Solutions reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abusive or fraudulent conduct, or compromise platform security. You may delete your account at any time via the app or at https://handcredit.in/delete-account.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Haffi Fintech Solutions, its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, unpaid credit amounts, counterparty defaults, data loss, or business interruption arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
